Horses

We have always been active in breeding horses for the ability to perform. Our Quarter horse mares are mainly bred around the Burnt Spur/ Parker's Trouble mare--"Singing Spur". These horses have worked wonders for us exhibiting exceptional sound hooves that never need trimming or shoeing. Good conformation with exceptional agility. Singing Spur's progeny include Raise A Dancer multiple stakes winner, and Burnt Jet Bars who has sired many winners on the barrel racing circuit. Horses from this bloodline have performed well at the race track, rodeo circuits, pleasure/reining or just exceptional ranch horses.

We were also very fortunate to own a direct son of Raise A Native, Cohoes Native. This stallion has the conformation of a quarter horse and the stamina and heart of a Thoroughbred. He has bred very well with the quarter horses, thoroughbreds and most anything he has been bred to. Super speed, good disposition and athletic ability. Owners of offspring have reported they are the best horses they ever rode. They have proven to have lots of cow sense as well.

"Woso"-- our Hanovarian Stallion

More recently we have purchased a Hanovarian stallion sired by Wodan (pictured at right) named Woso. We are amazed by the growthfulness, power, soundness, confirmation, and smooth gate of this breed. We are crossing him with the foundation thoroughbred lines like Native Dancer, Nearco, Nazurallah, and Northern Dancer. The quarter horses are looking good exhibiting better bone, thicker walled hooves and a little taller with a smoother gait, while maintaining their muscling and attractive heads.
